 Andrew M. Bursky – Managing Partner Mr. Bursky has been Managing Partner of Atlas Holdings LLC since its inception in January 2002. From June 1999 to April 2002, Mr. Bursky was a Co-Managing Partner of Pegasus Capital Advisors, L.P., a private investment partnership with approximately $2 billion of capital under management, focusing on control investments in middle-market companies at points of stress or significant change. Mr. Bursky joined Pegasus in 1999 after 19 years with Interlaken Capital, Inc., a private equity concern focusing on contrarian style, value-oriented investments in middle-market companies. Mr. Bursky was one of the founding principals and the Senior Managing Director of Interlaken. While at Interlaken, Mr. Bursky was responsible for all investments and business development activities, with a primary focus on industrial manufacturing and distribution, business services, financial services and distribution. Mr. Bursky serves on the Board of Managers of AGI Global Holdings Cooperatief U.A., Atlas AGI Holdings LLC, Bridgewell Resources, Capital Equipment Resources LLC, Detroit Renewable Energy LLC, Finch Paper Holdings LLC, Forest Resources LLC, Phoenix International Services LLC, RedBuilt LLC, Soundview Paper LLC and Wood Resources LLC. In addition, Mr. Bursky serves as a Trustee of the Eisenhower Fellowships and Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Bursky is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and Harvard Business School. Timothy J. Fazio – Managing Partner Mr. Fazio has been Managing Partner of Atlas Holdings LLC since its inception in January of 2002. He and Mr. Bursky have worked closely together for more than a decade. Cromie – Partner Mr. Cromie joined Atlas in 2002 and serves as a Partner. Mr. Cromie has approximately 12 years of private equity experience, throughout which period he has worked with Mr. Bursky and Mr. Fazio. Mr. Cromie serves on the Board of Managers of Bridgewell Resources LLC, Capital Equipment Resources LLC, Erickson Framing Holdings LLC, Phoenix Industrial Services LLC, RedBuilt LLC and Soundview Paper LLC. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Cromie served as a consultant for the Commodity Operations Group of Goldman Sachs in a variety of capacities including as a member of the development team of an integrated fixed income, currency and commodities operations system. Concurrently, Mr. Cromie toured the country as a professional musician. Prior to his professional music career, Mr. Cromie was a Senior Analyst at Interlaken Capital. Mr. Cromie is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Edward J. Fletcher – Partner Mr. Fletcher joined Atlas in 2007 and serves as a Partner. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Fletcher served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Wood Resources LLC, an Atlas platform company. Before that, Mr. Fletcher was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a publicly-traded wireless information and communication services company, where he had oversight and responsibility for all financial aspects of the organization. Mr. Fletcher began his career in 1993 at Ernst & Young LLP ("E&Y") in the Assurance Advisory Services Practice. Mr. Fletcher serves on the Board of Managers of Bridgewell Resources LLC, Detroit Renewable Energy LLC and Finch Paper Holdings LLC. Mr. Fletcher is a graduate of Fairfield University and has received professional certifications as a Public Accountant in the State of New York and as a Fraud Examiner. Jacob D. Hudson – Partner Mr. Hudson joined Atlas in 2005 and is a Partner. During his career with Atlas Mr. Hudson has led the evaluation and execution of numerous transaction opportunities as well as the formation, financing and oversight of several Atlas portfolio companies. Mr. Hudson serves on the Board of Managers of Atlas AGI Holdings LLC, Atlas AGI Holdings (Cayman) LP and on the Supervisory Board of AGI Global Holdings Cooperatief U.A. Mr. Hudson is a graduate of Wesleyan University. Philip E. Schuch – Partner Mr. Schuch joined Atlas in 2003 and serves as a Partner. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Schuch was employed at Ernst & Young for over 14 years and was a principal of the firm's Transaction Support Group, participating in over 100 domestic and foreign due diligence engagements for private equity investor groups and strategic buyers. At E&Y, Mr. Schuch had active participation in company financings and significant involvement in fraud/litigation engagements, including numerous projects involving the United States Department of Justice. Mr. Schuch serves on the Board of Managers of Atlas AGI Holdings (Cayman) LP, AGI Global Holdings Cooperatief U.A., and Atlas AGI Holdings LLC. Mr. Schuch is a graduate of West Virginia University and a Certified Public Accountant. Sam G. Astor – Principal Mr. Astor joined Atlas in 2007 and serves as a Principal. Mr. Astor has led the formation, financing and oversight of several Atlas portfolio companies and been involved in the evaluation and analysis of numerous businesses and transaction opportunities. Mr. Astor serves on the Board of Managers of Erickson Framing Holdings LLC. Mr. Astor is a graduate of Wesleyan University. Zachary C. Sufrin – Principal Mr. Sufrin joined Atlas in 2005 and serves as a Principal. Reeve – Vice President, Finance Ms. Reeve joined Atlas in 2010 and serves as a Vice President, Finance. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Reeve was employed at Commonfund for over 11 years and was Controller for the firm's real estate group. At Commonfund, Ms. Reeve was responsible for the accounting and reporting for the real estate funds and participated in asset and debt valuation. Ms. Reeve is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Fairfield University. Troy E. Schirk – Director of Information Systems Mr. Schirk joined Atlas in 2007 and serves as Director of Information Systems. Mr. Schirk has led the implementation of numerous IT transitions. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Schirk was employed at Forest Resources LLC as IT Director, ComGraphics, Inc. as IT Director, and served as a Senior IT Consultant on major IT projects for Hyundai America Technical Center. Mr. Schirk is a graduate of the University of Windsor. Armando Imbrogno – Controller Mr. Imbrogno joined Atlas in 2012 and serves as Controller. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Imbrogno was employed at Commonfund for over twelve years in various oversight roles in the real estate and fund accounting groups. At Commonfund, Mr. Imbrogno was responsible for fund and investor reporting and compliance, along with the oversight of the outsourced fund accounting function for Commonfund's marketable and non-marketable funds. Before joining Commonfund, Mr. Imbrogno supervised a team of global fund accountants at J.P. Morgan Chase, Global Investor Services. Mr. Imbrogno is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport. Jerome E. Lay – Senior Associate Mr. Lay joined Atlas in 2009 and serves as an Associate. Mr. Lay supports due diligence teams with extensive research and financial modeling. Mr. Lay is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Michael W. Sher – Senior Associate Mr. Sher joined Atlas in 2010 and serves as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Sher served as a Research Associate at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. covering large-cap banks. Mr. Sher supports due diligence teams with extensive research and financial modeling. Mr. Sher is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Jason M. Squire – Senior Associate Mr. Squire joined Atlas in 2010 and serves as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Squire was a member of the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan, where he executed a variety of M&A and capital-raising assignments. Mr. Squire supports due diligence teams with extensive research and financial modeling. Mr. Squire is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Declan S. Guilfoyle – Analyst Mr. Guilfoyle joined Atlas in 2012 and serves as an Analyst. Mr. Guilfoyle supports due diligence teams with extensive research and financial modeling. Mr. Guilfoyle is a graduate of Williams College. Daniel A. Ozen – Analyst Mr. Ozen joined Atlas in 2012 and serves as an Analyst. Defonce – Administrative Manager Ms. Defonce joined Atlas in 2002 and is the Administrative Manager. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Defonce held administrative management positions with a variety of financial services firms including SoundView Technology Group, Trainer, Wortham & Company, Inc. and Bear Stearns. Ms. Defonce is a graduate of the Southern Virginia College for Women. Kathleen Dillon – Administrator Ms. Dillon joined Atlas in 2008 and serves as the Administrator. Ms. Dillon held business administrator positions at various firms including Sheltering Arms Childrens Services, First Capital Asset Management, Inc., and E.F. Hutton & Co. Mark S. Young – CI/Lean Director Mr. Young joined Atlas in 2012 and serves as the CI/Lean Director. Mr. Young is responsible for managing the larger CI/Lean initiative at Atlas and its portfolio companies. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Young served as an Director of Operations at Boehmer Box, an Atlas portfolio company. Mr. Young has also held senior positions at Wiresmith Displays, Crane Valves, Diemaco, Inc., and Allan-Bradley Canada Limited. Mr. Young is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology, University of Waterloo, and University of Michigan. Jonathan S. Cooper – CI/Lean Analyst Mr. Cooper joined Atlas in 2012 and serves as a CI/Lean Analyst. Mr. Cooper is responsible for data and statistical analyses and supports the larger CI/Lean initiative at Atlas and its portfolio companies. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Cooper served as an Associate in the FX and Derivatives Prime Brokerage group at Goldman Sachs, supporting the trading activity of hedge fund clients. Mr. Cooper is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Josef M. Haak – Field Analyst Mr. Haak joined Detroit Renewable Energy LLC in 2011 and serves as a Field Analyst for the company. Prior to joining Detroit Renewable Energy LLC, Mr. Haak was an Associate at Peregrine Capital Partners LLC, a boutique middle-market investment banking and consulting firm, where he executed a variety of M&A, capital raising, and management consulting assignments. Mr. Haak supports the senior management team and works directly alongside the Chief Financial Officer conducting continuous improvement initiatives and business analytics. Mr. Haak is a graduate of Colgate University. Daniel T. Merriam – Field Analyst Mr. Merriam joined Finch Paper LLC in 2011 and serves as a Field Analyst for the company. Mr. Merriam supports the senior management team and works directly alongside the Chief Financial Officer conducting continuous improvement initiatives and business analytics. Mr. Merriam is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Peter S. Sack – Field Analyst Mr. Sack joined Bridgewell Resources LLC in 2012 and serves as a Field Analyst for the company. Mr. Sack supports the senior management team and works directly alongside the Chief Financial Officer conducting continuous improvement initiatives and business analytics. Previously, Mr. Sack was a recipient of the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Scholarship, under which he spent a year researching manufacturing and labor trends in southern China. Mr. Sack is a graduate of Yale University.
Mr. Jay G. Baitler served as an Executive Vice President of Contract Division of Staples Inc. since 2004. Mr. Baitler had been with Staples since 1995 and was responsible for business-to-business eCommerce operations, catalog operations, sales, marketing and supplier relationships. He served as Mid- Atlantic Regional President and Senior Vice President of Contract Division of Staples Inc. Prior to that, he served as Northeast Regional President of BT Office Products. He also served as President of Summit Office Supply where he oversaw all activities related to sales, marketing, operations, distribution, logistics, information systems and merchandising. Mr. Baitler has been a Director for TESSCO Technologies Inc. since 2007. He serves on the Advisory Council of Office Products International. He is also Industry Chairman of the Anti-Defamation League and is a former director of Harvard Hillel. Mr. Baitler is a native of New York City and graduated from Union College. Mr. Barber has worked in the forest products industry for over 40 years with a focus on the tissue sector. Mr. Barber served as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at Fort James and Vice President of Manufacturing at Crown Zellerbach. Mr. Bingham has worked in the pulp, paper and tissue industries for over 40 years. Mr. Bingham has served in leadership roles at leading North American pulp and paper producers including Georgia-Pacific LLC, SCA Tissue North America, LLC, Boise Cascade LLC and P.H. Glatfelter Company. Most recently, Mr. Bingham served as President of Marcal Papers LLC, during its emergence from bankruptcy. Mr. Broz is a Senior Advisor to Soundview Paper Company. Mr. Broz has 37 years of experience in the tissue industry. Mr. Broz retired from Georgia-Pacific, LLC in 2005 after serving as VP of Operations at the Savannah River Mill. Previously, Mr. Broz held manufacturing, engineering, and management positions of varying seniority at Georgia-Pacific, LLC, Potlatch Corporation, Nitec Corporation, and Proctor & Gamble Corporation. Mr. Broz is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
Mr. Broz serves as a Senior Advisor to Soundview Paper LLC. Mr. Costello has worked in the paper products industry for over 45 years. He retired from International Paper Company in 2002. His most recent assignment was Chief Executive Officer of the xpedx division of International Paper Company, having previously held senior positions at Dixon Paper and Rampart Containers.
Mr. Costello serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Managers of AGI Global Holdings Cooperatief U.A. and the Board of Managers of Atlas Holdings LLC. Mr. Crawford is the Vice President of Operations of Soundview Paper Company. Prior to his role at Soundview Paper Company, Mr. Crawford served as Project Manager and Vice President of Engineering and Technology for New WinCup Holdings, in Stone Mountain, GA. Mr. Crawford retired from Georgia-Pacific, LLC in 2008 after leading the Port Hudson Operations as Vice President of Manufacturing for 13 years. Mr. Crawford led Port Hudson to record safety performance, reduced costs while increasing equipment uptimes and transformed the pulp operation to a tissue operation. Mr. Crawford grew Port Hudson from a pulp mill to a primary producer of premium tissue and paper towel products with 180,000 tons annually of tissue paper production and approximately 15 million cases annually of bath tissue and paper towel products. Mr. Crawford is a graduate of the University of Florida.
Mr. Crawford serves as VP of Operations of Soundview Paper LLC. Mr. Critchfield has worked in environmental audit, risk transfer and due diligence for over 30 years. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of EMSOURCE, Inc., and a board member with several Global Forest Partners, LP investment funds, having previously served as a senior environmental manager with International Paper Company and the Alaska Natural Gas Transportation System. Mr. Gordon has worked in the consumer goods industry for over 40 years. He has served as an executive officer of Nice-Pak Products, Inc., Beiersdorf North America, Goody Products, and Playtex Products. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc., of which he is the Lead Director; Nice-Pak Products, Inc., the AGX Corporation and ebeanstalk.com.
Mr. Gordon serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Managers of AGI Global Holdings Cooperatief U.A. and the Board of Managers of Atlas Holdings LLC. Mr. McLean served as Group President and Chief Marketing Officer at World Kitchen, LLC, a privately held manufacturer of household products, where he led a $400M division including Pyrex, Corelle, Revere and other leading brands. Previously he was GM for the $1.5B Consumer Paper business unit at Fort James Tissue with responsibility for premium Tissue, Towel and Napkin brands (Quilted Northern, Brawny, Vanity Fair) as well as value brands produced from recycled fiber (Soft ‘n Gentle, Mardi Gras); he led Fort James $300M Private Label business which manufactured a full line of tissue products for major retailers including Costco, Sam’s, Ahold, Stop and Shop and Kroger. Mr. McLean is a graduate of Duke University and holds an MBA from Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Mr. Meyers retired from Georgia-Pacific, LLC in 2008 after serving as VP Operations of Georgia-Pacific, LLC Muskogee Plant which produced Facial Tissue, Towel and Napkin products. Previously, Mr. Meyers managed the tissue operations of Georgia-Pacific Mexico. Has 38 years of tissue experience first at Fort Howard, followed by Fort James and Georgia-Pacific, LLC.
Mr. Meyers serves as a Senior Advisor to Soundview Paper LLC. Mr. Raccuia has worked in the paper products and tissue industries for over 20 years. He has previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of SCA Tissue North America, LLC, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Encore Paper Company. Mr. Raccuia currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Paper Trade Association and the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Raccuia serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Finch Paper LLC. Mr. Stinnett has worked in the pulp and paper industry for over 40 years. His most recent assignments were Director of Corporate Engineering of International Paper Company and Chief Executive Officer, Director and Board Chairman of Ngahere Aotearoa, Inc., a New Zealand holding company, wholly owned by International Paper. Mr. Stinnett also served on the Board of Managers of Northern Resources Nova Scotia Corporation. Mr. Stowell has worked in chemicals and paper products industries for over 30 years. He retired from International Paper Company in 2005. His most recent assignments were Vice President of the Arizona Chemical, Chemical Cellulose and Asset Management divisions of International Paper Company. Mr. Wurtz served as President and Chief Executive Officer of New WinCup Holdings, in Stone Mountain, GA, a privately-held manufacturer and distributor of single-use cups, food service containers, lids and straws. Mr. Wurtz retired from Georgia-Pacific, LLC in 2006 after serving in several executive management positions. Mr. Wurtz most recently served as Executive Vice President of Georgia-Pacific, LLC’s Pulp & Paper Segment where he was fully responsible for $6 billion of sales, five divisional presidents and over 10,000 employees. At Georgia-Pacific, LLC, Mr. Wurtz also transformed the Port Hudson Pulp Mill into a leading Tissue and Towel facility and successfully integrated the Fort James Tissue business into the Georgia-Pacific, LLC Tissue Business. Prior to joining Georgia-Pacific, LLC, Mr. Wurtz worked for James River Corporation/Fort James for 14 years and held executive management positions in operations, logistics, procurement and manufacturing planning. Mr. Wurtz is a graduate of the State University of New York, Oswego, New York.
Mr. Wurtz serves as the CEO and on the Board of Mangers of Soundview Paper LLC.
