Metal Resources LLC through its wholly owned subsidiary Michigan Seamless Tube LLC is a manufacturer of highly specialized, cold drawn seamless steel tubes used in niche applications which require high tolerances to pressure, heat and corrosive environments. In October 2002, Michigan Seamless Tub was formed to acquire the assets from the estate of Vision Metals Inc. pursuant to a Section 363 bankruptcy process. The idled mill was restarted in November 2002, and in 2007, Michigan Seamless Tube achieved the highest level of revenue and profits in its 80-year history. Michigan Seamless Tube was sold to a foreign-owned specialty steel group in June 2008.
