Celebrating the Rebuilding of Winston Plywood & Veneer

Winston Plywood & Veneer hosted its first family fun day on Saturday, April 28, 2018 to thank its dedicated employees for their great work and enjoy a day of fun and games with their families. This event was planned for the same day in 2014 when a tornado struck, destroying the mill and devastating the community. This year’s employee appreciation event represents the perseverance of Winston Plywood to bounce back after what could have been the end for the mill. The celebration was covered by WCBI News.
