Atlas Summer Internship Program

The Atlas “War for Talent” stretches from the highest levels of our companies to individuals who have yet to begin their promising careers. Based in our Greenwich offices, the ten-week Atlas Internship Program is a highly selective, hands-on summer experience.

Participants are chosen from a substantial pool of students from premier colleges and universities across the country. Each individual is paired with an Atlas partner and associate as their primary mentors and given substantive assignments, upon which they receive regular feedback. Assignments have included supporting deal teams and working on value creation initiatives for Atlas companies.

Our goal is to provide a meaningful mentorship experience for talented students while, at the same time, affording us an “extended interview” of potential Atlas leaders of the future.

Testimonial

"My Internship at Atlas paved the way for the start of my career as an engineer. It not only introduced me to Atlas’ unique culture but also offered an opportunity to audition for a full-time position. I was given substantive assignments and mentored by senior team members offering feedback on my performance. Today, I am thrilled to be part of Banker Steel’s team in New York City and the larger Atlas Holdings family."
Julia McManus | Class of 2016

Our Class of 2016 included an engineering student named Julia McManus, who had recently completed her junior year at Fairfield University.  At the conclusion of her Summer Internship Program, Julia had demonstrated an ability to drive positive change.

She was offered an Atlas Field Associate position and today serves in that position at Banker Steel’s offices in New York City.  Having completed her degree in engineering, Julia is today part of the team responsible for executing Banker Steel’s key role in the roughly $3 billion One Vanderbilt project, a commercial office tower adjacent to Grand Central Station that will forever redefine the NYC skyline.
